The Kufstein-München stage was a very intense day.
The day started at 7.00 am with the “White sausage event” with Stefan Hohenauer, Birgit Berger and their nice group of friends. It was a perfect opportunity to share the aim of our ride towards Copenhagen and to discuss with them on the possibility to do the same for the next UNFCCC conference in December (!) 2015 In Paris.
We managed to find local contact in Kufstein very late, so we really thank Stefan for the effort to organize this opportunity to meet people during our stop in Kufstein.
We also like to thank all the cyclists riding with us until the German border. The air was cold, but In the early morning the landscape was fantastic with some fog between the Inn and the mountain.
There was a fantastic back wind pushing us forward and this was very good for us, but also challenging for those who joined us on when they had to go back to Kufstein. A double thank you to those who rode longer with us along the Inn river.
The rest of the ride was fine. A sunny day, several people wearing traditional Bavarian clothes in some villages and then our arrival in München, where we had a beer…thinking about the white sausages of the morning.
