After the hard day to Ingolstadt a very pleasable one to go to Nürnberg.
The evening before in Ingolstadt an important rain in the evening force us to dress our rain equipment. We were worried of some information of rain and storm coming during our ride to Nürnberg, but we were lucky again and only few drop came in a general sunny day.
118 km in continuously light uphill and downhill, but our legs feels good and the minor pains are day by day reducing.
The only problem is that we forced to stop to fix a problem on the Daniele’s bike. From the Brennero Claudio noted that my posterior wheel was not perfect. in Austria start to touch the steel of the bike and the brake.
We arrive in the afternoon in Ingolstdat, but all the shop were closed. The same in München Sunday. To late in Ingolstadt to try to fix something.. Therefore the first opportunity was a bike shop in our way to Nürnberg.
We found an expert person able to fix the bike . The problem was that the “coni” (no idea on the English name of it) of the wheel were destroyed and the “mozzo” not more on line. A lot of (bad) thought have been sent to Filippo that prepared the Daniele’s bike. Without strange noise and wheel continuously braked the sun shined more.
Then we took the canal and rode for 30 along it,
At our arrival in Nürnberg, Karin and Susanne welcome us and address us in the building of the municipality. Together with their offices there are offices for NGO, art exibithions (today one on of Franca Faccin, an Italian artist from Oderzo “La bicicletta e il mare”!) and…apartment (very nice) for the host.
Very cool!
Evviva karin!!!! Evviva Suzanne!!! Viva!!!!
