Today’s ride was amazing.

Only 90 km flat, with very short and easy light uphills and more pleasant long downhill.

It is the Radweg Leipzig-Berlin of around 200 km, perfectly indicated with specific signs, where you may ride without the support of any map.

From Leipzig to Wittenberg, the town of Luther, the track is largely through forests (the longest one of less than 20 km) and the remaining part along quiet roads.

We saw deer and several hawks and rode most of the track in silence enjoying the peace of the places.

The weather was cloudy and a little bit cold but without the expected rain.

We rode quite fast to arrive in the early afternoon in Wittenberg and take all the remaining time to rest, because from tomorrow will start the three most challenging days. Tomorrow around 130 km to Berlin, then 180 on Monday (if we are not able to find some shortcuts in our track) and 160 the day after to go to Rostock.

So far, so good… we’ll take the challenge day by day.
